The Perfect Home Base for your Vacation
The Townhome Suites at Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort in Parksville, British Columbia, offer a luxurious and spacious accommodation option ideal for families, groups, or those seeking a comfortable and elegant stay. Each townhome suite spans approximately 1,200 square feet, providing ample space for up to six guests. The layout includes two private bedrooms, a pull-out sofa bed in the living room, and either two or three bathrooms.
The suites are designed with an open-concept feel, high ceilings, and large windows to allow plenty of natural light. They are furnished with high-quality fixtures, including a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, granite countertops, tile flooring, and an electric fireplace.
Guests at Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort have access to various onsite amenities, including a seasonal outdoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness facility, meeting rooms, and a cozy outdoor fireplace. The resort also offers private beach access along Craig Bay during low tide.
Located just minutes from the center of Parksville, the beach, and numerous activities, Sunrise Ridge makes the perfect home base for exploring this beautiful area of Vancouver Island.

How do you guarantee my reservation?
Guests must be at least 19 years old and supply a valid credit card. The same credit card must be presented at check-in. A deposit is required with every booking — details depend on the rate and will be shown during booking.
Deposits – In order to guarantee your reservation, a deposit is required with every booking at Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort. Please ask our Guest Services Agents about the deposit required when making a reservation direct. If booking online, the deposit policy will be clearly listed beside each rate. If you have any questions, our team is always happy to help.
Online Travel Agents – Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate booked. Here is some information on each type of cancellation policy we offer at our Resort:
Flexible Rates – Reservations must be canceled prior to 72 hours of arrival to receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations received within 72 hours will forfeit the deposit.
Non-Refundable Rates – Payment is required in full at time of booking. If you change or cancel your reservation, you will not get a refund or credit to use for a future stay.
Long Term Rate – The deposit is fully refundable up to 30-days prior to arrival. Cancellations received within 30-days will forfeit the first month's deposit.
Online Travel Agents – Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.
Can I change or modify my reservation?
Yes — subject to availability. Changing dates or length may result in a rate adjustment.
When can I check -in/check-out?
Check-in time is 4:00pm PST
Check-out time is 10:00am PST
Early check-ins and late check-outs can be requested however; we can’t guarantee this for you. We will note your request and do our best to accommodate. Please note that fees apply for these services.
Will my suite have an ocean view?
Our Waterfront Villas and Waterfront Townhomes are the only accommodation option with guaranteed ocean views, however, we do have some condo-style suites that offer a partial ocean view. Please contact our team to find out what room option will be perfect for your next getaway.
What if I damage the suite or move something to another suite?
Because each suite is privately owned, guests are responsible for any missing or damaged items in the suite they are staying in. We ask that items are not brought from one suite to another. Costs will be charged to the credit card used for the reservation for anything found to be damaged or missing.
Do all suites have air conditioning?
Nearly all do — except for some of the Studio Suites. If AC is essential, please let our Guest Services Team know upon reservation so we can accommodate this request (based on availability).
Is there internet access?
Yes — all accommodations include complimentary wireless internet.
Are there kitchens or kitchenettes?
Our 1, 2 and 3-bedroom condo-style and townhome-style suites come with full kitchens (fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc.), while smaller units typically offer a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, kettle and coffee maker.
Do I pay for parking?
There are no fees for parking at our Resort. We provide free parking (outdoor and limited underground) for our guests. Please ask upon checking in where you can park your vehicle.
Is Sunrise Ridge Resort pet-friendly?
Yes — we offer a limited number of suites that are designated as pet-friendly. You must request a pet-friendly suite when booking; availability is not guaranteed otherwise. Please see our pet-friendly information page and review our policies prior to making a reservation.

Does the Resort have a restaurant?
There is no restaurant directly on-site, but there is one within a 2-minute walk at a neighbour resort. There are also many other dining options just a short drive away in Parksville. See our dining recommendations here >>>
Does Sunrise Ridge have a pool, hot tub & fitness centre?
Yes! We offer a hot tub (open daily) and a fitness centre. The seasonal outdoor pool is open from May to October.
Is there beach access?
Yes — there’s a private path to the beach just past our Waterfront Villa's. Please note that during high tide, access is limited. Also, note the access point includes stairs, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
Are smoking/vaping or cannabis allowed?
Smoking of any kind – which includes tobacco products, vaping, and cannabis – is restricted to the designated smoking areas ONLY. Smoking of any kind on the deck of your vacation home is not permitted. A charge will be incurred if you are discovered smoking in one of the vacation rental suites.
Is housekeeping included?
Suites are cleaned only upon departure. Mid stay cleans are available for a fee (must be pre-booked at least 72 hours in advance).
Are there EV charging stations onsite?
Yes — we have EV charging stations available free of charge for guests staying at Sunrise Ridge.
Is the resort good for long stays or remote work?
Absolutely — many suites have full kitchens and comfortable spaces, making them ideal for extended stays or remote work setups. Find out more info on extended stays here >>>

What is the environmental (eco-fee) policy?
The Environmental Fees True Key Hotels & Resorts collects from our rental guests contribute to the sustainability and preservation of the natural environment surrounding our resorts. These fees help offset the costs of various eco-friendly initiatives and regulatory expenses, including but not limited to recycling programs, bulk bath amenities, provincial carbon taxes, environmentally safe chemicals, high-efficiency laundry equipment, electric golf carts, collection of returnable beverage containers, printed guest orientation materials, energy-efficient office equipment and appliances, employee training, energy consumption monitoring, and other environmental conservation efforts.
What if I need something extra (e.g. crib, baby-cot, extra bedding)?
We typically have options for extra bedding or play-pens — just mention your needs when booking and we’ll try to accommodate. Please note that rental fees apply for play-pens.
