Salmon Spawning at Little Qualicum River

Every Fall, scores of salmon must fight their way upstream as they take their final journey to lay or fertilize eggs of their own. Between September and November, you can witness this journey first-hand at rivers and streams throughout the Island. The ancient trees and leafy trails make Little Qualicum River the perfect place for adventurers and naturalists to come together and witness this annual spectacle.


Take a Walk Along Qualicum Beach

With gardens and tree-lined streets, Qualicum Beach turns into brilliant shades of gold and red during the Fall months. While in town stop by one of our cozy coffee shops to enjoy a latte and take in a magnificent sunset along the paved promenade.
